Sweet and Peachy HMR® Hot Cereal

¾ cup water
1 packet HMR® Multigrain Hot Cereal
1 cup sliced peaches—fresh or canned without added sugar or syrup (drained)
If desired, warm the peaches separately for 30 seconds in the microwave.

Optional: packet of noncaloric sweetener

  1. Empty contents of cereal packet into a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add ¾ cup water (not hot) and stir.
  3. Microwave on HIGH for 90 seconds; stir.
  4. Allow to sit for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in peaches.
  6. Serve immediately.

HMR® Bread Pudding

1 Package of HMR® Multigrain Cereal

1 Package of HMR® vanilla shake mix

1 8 oz. glass of water

1 tsp of cinnamon spice (can leave out)

Using a deep set bowl:

Mix dry ingredients HMR® Multigrain Cereal and Vanilla Shake

Add 8 oz. glass of water

Add tsp of cinnamon spice

Mix together thoroughly

Place bowl in microwave with a top cover for 1 minute and 30 seconds on High Power (watch carefully for content to overflow)

Pull out of microwave and re-stir

Place back in microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds on High

* For those on Healthy Solutions® Diet you may add in fruits for  topping   

Multi-grain Cookies

1 Package of HMR® Multigrain Cereal

1 Package of HMR® shake mix

1 TBSP of Pudding mix (sugar free-fat free any variety/flavor)

½ tsp of each extract added (your choice)

½ tsp coca powder (optional- depending on what you are making)

½ cup of diet soda

 

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Mix dry ingredients then stir in pop all at once.
  • Let stand 5 min.
  • Spray baking sheet during this time. Mixture may seem runny at first but will thicken on standing.
  • Drop by rounded TBS onto baking sheet, spread slightly with back of spoon.
  • Bake at 350 degree oven for 14-16 min, and then let cool on baking sheet.
  • Store in a tightly closed container or Ziploc bag. Make sure you label each one especially if making more than one batch at a time. Refrigerate until ready to be eaten.

This recipe may also be made into waffle, pancake or muffin form.  You may even use non-caloric syrups as toppings and for those on Healthy Solutions® you can even top with fresh fruit.
