Tidewater Bariatrics, which specializes in the medical treatment of overweight and obese patients, is now accepting new patients at 1413 Kempsville Rd. in Chesapeake. The clinic’s medical director is Dr. Margaret Gaglione, a board-certified internal medicine physician and member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. Previously Gaglione worked for 14 years as an internist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where she specialized in the management of obese patients and lectured on the medical impact of obesity and obesity-related complications.
